Fånå Organics was created from a lifelong connection to nature and a belief that everyday skincare should be nourishing, beautiful, and uncomplicated.
From the Amazon to Ontario
Where It All Began
Our founder grew up on a farm in the Amazon region of Ecuador, where natural ingredients were not a trend — they were part of everyday life. Surrounded by tropical plants, herbs, fruits, flowers, and traditional knowledge passed down through generations, she learned from an early age how to combine natural and botanical ingredients for practical household and personal-care needs.
Living close to the land taught her to work with what nature provided. Plants, oils, herbs, and other naturally available ingredients were blended by hand because they were accessible, familiar, and often necessary. These early experiences created a lasting appreciation for simple formulas, purposeful ingredients, and the care that goes into making products by hand.
Years later, that knowledge and connection to nature became the inspiration for Fånå Organics. Today, we are based in London, Ontario, where we create small-batch tallow skincare designed to nourish, soften, cleanse, and care for the skin.
Why Tallow?
An Ancient Ingredient, Rediscovered
Tallow has been used for centuries as a skin-nourishing ingredient. Derived from grass-fed animals, it is rich in fat-soluble vitamins and fatty acids that closely mirror the natural oils in human skin.
This natural compatibility makes tallow especially well suited to both cleansing and moisturizing products. In our soaps, it helps create a firm, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather. In our creams, it provides a deeply nourishing base that melts comfortably into the skin and helps leave it feeling soft, smooth, and cared for.
